Briarpatch, a maker of children’s games, was running a promotion that required a landing page and shopping cart with coupon integration.
Our Solution
When presented with this challenge NetFuelSM looked to leverage a customized version of its shopping cart to provide a solution for the client. The shopping cart solution product that ScreenMatter had developed worked well for numerous clients in the past. However, a large part of the discount engine in the shopping cart product was designed for a particular client and focused on quantity discounts.
After working with Briarpatch to discover what solution would best fit their needs, NetFuelSM developed a custom shopping cart solution that would accommodate coupons while still providing the opportunity to offer quantity discounts. The solution seamlessly integrated with their current website and automatically applied the correct coupon when the website was entered via the promotional web address. The promotion is currently running but early indications are that both the landing page and coupon functionality are performing well for Briarpatch.
