The Challenge
Effectively market large numbers of franchisee websites
Our Solution
When presented with this challenge NetFuelSM approached the solution holistically. By incorporating both proven online marketing techniques and new technologically based solutions, they developed a dynamic internet marketing program. The solution was so effective that other franchise systems in different industries adopted a version of the program.
The internet marketing system developed for these franchise systems allowed individual franchisee websites to be automatically created as they were added to the system. Upon creation they were populated with search engine friendly content that was married with their location information to make each site ideally suited for local search success. These sites were also created with search engine optimized HTML and pre-built links between each site and other sites in the franchise system. The franchisee websites also had a positive effect on the national consumer website as they created large numbers of links to point back to that site. In one instance, the implementation of this system catapulted the national consumer website’s Google rank from 19th to 5th in just a few days.
In addition to the additional traffic that this system provided to the franchise systems the websites were also designed to maximize conversion. Users can find and associate with a local franchisee site from the national consumer website so that they can respond directly to the franchisee that would do the work. Finally, the conversion mechanism on the sites was optimized to identify points of abandonment and ways to increase conversion.
